SHABBAT SERVICES

What can you expect when you visit Yedidei Adonai Messianic Jewish Fellowship?
10:30 a.m. Torah/Mincha Service (liturgy)
11:45 a.m. Midrash (teaching)/Children’s Class
12:45 Hebraic Messianic Worship
1:15 Oneg (Kosher Potluck)
Our liturgical services and midrash times always include ASL interpretation and are livestreamed each week from our Yedidei Adonai Facebook page and R' Gabriel's YouTube channel, where you can also access his midrashes.
Members generally dress nicely but casual. Some men bring tallits and kippahs.
During the midrash, a designated parent takes the children to their classroom for a Torah lesson and play time. Before they are dismissed, Rabbi Gabriel will give them a brief talk and a special blessing under the tallit.
The worship service typically features familiar contemporary messianic songs from artists like Paul Wilbur, Miqedem, Ted Pearce, and some traditional Jewish songs. You will also frequently hear original music by the Lumbrosos.
After worship, we share a potluck meal called oneg. If it's you're first time, we don't expect you to bring anything. All food contributions are expected to be biblically clean, based on Leviticus 11.
OTHER:
Torah ClubYAD Torah club meets Tuesday evenings at 6:45pm as a hybrid class via Zoom and in-person (Estacada). If you'd like to join, email Rabbi Gabriel for sign up instructions at [email protected].

YAD YouthYAD prioritizes its young people because it recognizes them as the vital continuation of Messianic Judaism. One of our YAD teen leads a 2x a week peer bible study for ages 13-21 (see above). Additionally, Rabbi Gabriel has a monthly oneg with the young people ages 14-25 to answer their questions about life, relationships, and the Bible in a safe format.
|
Hebraic WorshipHebraic dance is a popular feature of our worship service and we encourage men, women, and young people to join in! After oneg, some of us continue the fun with Israeli dancing. Amy, our dance leader, is experienced in both messianic and Israeli folk dancing.
