Gabriel is an Israeli Hebrew teacher who is much traveled and knows what a struggle it can be to learn a new language.  He has years of experience with children, from kindergarten through High School, and with adults- young and old!  He is passionate, compassionate, funny, friendly, patient,  very knowledgeable and will take you down some very INTERESTING Rabbit holes to pick a few important daisies that learning the Hebrew Language will give you.

Lessons can be done one on one or groups, online or in person.

TERMEDIATE BIBLICAL HEBREW

Text book: Basics of Biblical Hebrew (or other if preferred)

In this 12 week  session we learn the basic grammar rules.
​Using the Tanach as a textbook, we learn to  understand the Torah in Its proper syntax, phraseology, grammar, and idioms.

After taking this course, your Torah reading will never be the same and you will fall in love with liturgy.

This course can also be done in person or online.

INTERMEDIATE MODERN HEBREW WITH VERBS

In this session we learn grammatical concepts and verbs using a secular school book from Israel.  It is slow paced longer course as it includes verbs. The theme of the book is 'a year in the life of a new-York Jewish family'.

ADVANCED   12 -14 WEEKS:    
Biblical verb conjugation or modern Hebrew conversation/reading without vowels

For this course we use a Modern Hebrew workbook, Israeli Bible cartoons. We learn to recognize and parse verbs., make sentences.
