Thursday October 5th--Sunday, October 8th
Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles, is the last of the biblical fall festivals described and given to us in Leviticus 23. Like all the biblical festivals, Sukkot points us to events in the past as a remembrance as well as events in the future that we await the fulfillment of. Zechariah 14 speaks of a time in the future when all nations will come up to Jerusalem in honor of this festival. For Yedidei Adonai (YAD), it is the best time to come together for good food, fellowship, and celebration!

Some Things You Should Know...
The location of Sky Camp is part of sacred lands belonging to Native Americans. As such, absolutely no digging or driving into the ground is permitted--this includes tent stakes! Tents can be secured by other means, such as sandbags or other heavy objects, as well as tying off to nearby trees. In addition to this, no artifacts, including rocks, are to be removed from the camp. Violators may face hefty fines.
Tent and dry vehicle camping will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space for tents is plentiful and there are fields and forested areas to put your tent. |
There are two RV spaces with electrical hookups that will be available first to those with medical needs (such as a CPAP machine).
There is no WiFi available at the camp.
If you are registering for a bunk or cabin space, these will be assigned. The Pollard cabin is reserved for single men and the Weyerhauser cabin is reserved for single women (see image). The other cabins are ideal for families and couples who don't want to tent camp. All cabins have a small, common sitting room and three or four rooms with bunks.

There is one designated outdoor fire pit/mini amphitheater and a large fireplace inside the lodge and firewood is provided, but actually having fires will be subject to the local fire department regulations determined at the time.
The camp does not allow food or beverages inside the cabins (besides covered water bottles) and any personal cooking must be done only at the designated graveled area in front Moony Lodge (there will be an outdoor set-up for this purpose). When not in use, propane tanks must be disconnected and stored in a location indicated by the camp host. Because these rules are fairly limiting for such a large group, breakfast and dinner will be provided inside Moony Lodge to all Sukkot-goers at no additional cost.
Alcohol is permitted at the camp and we encourage it's use in the spirit of Deuteronomy 4:26, to increase our festival joy and relaxation. However, drunkenness and inappropriate, alcohol-induced behaviors will not be tolerated. Sky Camp limits alcohol consumption to beer, wine, and champagne, and its consumption is to occur within set times and locations that will be coordinated by YAD and Sky Camp (to be announced).
Pets are not allowed on the premises.
Camp participation is expected, so please be prepared to sign up to volunteer in a specific area on the registration form and bring your best! We appreciate everyone's time and talents in making this a safe and joyous occasion for all.
